System ID

Every Star System has a unique identification number, known as its System ID. The numbering system starts with ID 1, being Rana, and expands in an outward spiral pattern from there.
The System ID is important to know once a player reaches Biology level 25, as he or she can then launch a Fleet to any system, even if it is not shown on the Map Screen, by entering both the System ID and the Planet ID in the Fleet Screen.
