History
The Sons of Rana Alliance was founded in Beta 5 when Doubleeagle (Rana 1, 2, 3 and 5) and later also Priamos (Rana 11 and 12) were on Rana and decided to found an alliance to survive in this hot area. After a lokal french alliance (Mirador, Exec and Supreme) joined the heart of the SoR was complete. Several other players joined during the Beta and the teamwork was great.
At the beginning of Beta 6 the members decided to renew the alliance and to keep the name also there was no member on Rana anymore. Since SoR is here.
During beta 6 ; SoR members were in close contact with the alliance CO . In spite of little individuals conflicts the two alliances made a pretty good work together .
Beta 7 saw the leaving of Exec . Howewer the alliance managed to finish in the top 15 alliances which is a good result because many new alliances composed of 5 players was playing for victory ( ES ; TWZAR . ESSE etc....).
For beta 8 : Doubleeagle and Priamos decided to leave the alliance but many new members joined the alliance to keep the size of SoR. Some members were closed to ARMs, and this zone quickly became a battle ring. At the begining, SoR won some battles, but ARMs' warriors made a common attack against SoR's system. On Diadem, SoR members make some problems on ARMs organisation, but he didn't resist more than a week. After this defait, ARMs attacked a lot of west rankers (Mirador and Maghaj resigned after them) already in attack against Milly. KuMKa was one of the biggest targets, and SW helped ARMs to shoot him. In total, the fleet who attacked KuMKa was biggest than 80kCV in 4 days. After 5 Days of fight, some sons lost all their planets, and the war was already finished.
BETA 9: The structure of SoR was improved by some new changes. Priamos and Doubleeagle also returned and inspite of a very hard situation because of the position between some big alliances (RAGE, NEMO, HNU, BBA) the SoR survived and reached most of their aimes. Nevertheless many players wanted to leave the alliance because they wanted to see something new or because the big alliances offered better chances and more protection. At the end of the Beta SoR-members fought in many different wars and tried to influence the result of the beta.
I think I can speak for everybody when I say we really had a lot of fun and let´s see perhaps someone will refound this alliance again.
