Reconnaissance

Reconnaissance is one of the most important elements in strategy games - it involves observing the situations around you and also the sleeping habits of enemies etc.
Try to find out where your enemies are. If you see a planet under Siege ask the planet owner:
- Who is the owner of the ships?
- How many ships are there?
Maybe you can help him and get easy experience or break the siege for a price. You will also know where the aggressor’s fleet is so that you can make a counter attack while they have their Fleet elsewhere.
Having a biological science that is six levels above that of a fellow player allows you to see his race and levels of each science. This can be crucial when deciding on what tactics to use.
