Galactic News is one of the boards at the Astrowars forums, and focuses on interviews with players or alliances of an exceptionally high standard within the game, features on the game winners and great battles, and reports on those who have done a lot for the game in other ways. Astrowars members are welcome to suggest interesting topics for this board.

The board is maintained by the Journalists, who are (mostly) players who want to do more within the community by giving their time to prepare these interesting interviews and news articles. Any member of Astrowars is welcome to apply to join this group, if they feel they can add to the interest and entertainment of the Galactic News.

RAPT

Ragna's Alternative PoinT of view is a talkshow-esque feature that Ragna produces each week. He has a regular format with a two-part Debate Of The Week, a Number Of The Week, the Match Of The Week and the Retrotopic Of The Week amongst other things, and has livened up the Galactic News tremendously with the big letters and gaudy colours.
