History

Der Plan [TM] is a small alliance founded at the beginning of β9 by some former TZAR and DAY members.

Beta 10

Beta 10 was a minor desaster - and a valuable lesson. We lost more members than we could recruit, we were spread far to much and where sorrounded by some huge alliances, namely TZAR, TGT and WAR. But those were not our real problem, we soon established good relations with all 3 of them - especially as we all had a common enemy: the IS imposters. The war against the 'bad guys' in that alliance was rather quick, but unfortunatly TM got into trouble with the supposed 'good guys' among them as well - and soon after with Dark Invaders too. This war kept us busy very long, DI had some huge warrior fleets and we lost more than one battle before we could, with some good help from our allies, defeat them and recapture the lost planets. Some of us were involved in other wars as well, so we all ended up with nice player levels, but to few planets for a good ranking. So, we lost a few members, a few planets and a lot of fleets, but we learned a lot. And at the end of the beta we found some new members as well, one of them coming from our former enemies DI.

Beta 9

We were split up into several teams of 2 or 3 players in bio 6 range from eachother, with the teams beeing distributed in a bio 60 area. After taking out some independent player we soon realized beeing in the middle of HNU, NEMO, BBA and SoR. Before we really could start negotiations one of our teams got attacked by HNU. Some planets were lost, but another team worked on bio and came to help fast, so we could fight back and even get a bridge head in a HNU system. In the meanwhile we got in touch with the other alliances around us and soon NEMO and TM started cooperating. It was NEMO who helped making peace between HNU and TM as well and once the fights at that front stopped we turned our attention onto BBA. Together with NEMO and some EU members we quickly took several planets from BBA and although we lost several (huge) fleets, especially against starcatcher, our march forward never really stopped. The war went on until the end of the beta, in the end all of TM were involved somehow. At the end of the beta we had 14 members, averaging 365 points and ranked on #58 in the alliance ranking - the 31 BBA members were averaging 197 points and ranked on #136. The beta definitly was full of fights, war and fun, so most members decided to stay with TM way before its end.

Although our name is german and many of our members speak german we are an international alliance and basically anyone can join us. In Gold 1 we have members from germany, swiss, austria, poland and france.
