Hello,

My name is Sorin and i've been playing this game along with my brother abel for a very long time now.

Some of you know me.. most of you don't know me.. at least not with this account name.. when i started the SK project i changed my nick.. so old history gone..

2 weeks ago my brother abel was involved in a car crash and suferred sever brain damage.. now he lies on a hospital bed unconcious.

In order to solve this issue he must go trough a complicated medical proceeding that can't be done in a state hospital and must be done in a private clinic.

The insurances cover only half of the money need for this surgery..

We, my familly and the SK alliance are trying to raise the money so that he can have this surgery..but since the amount is quite high.. we are having difficulties to raise it.

After talking with some of the mods from here we decided to post here .. maybe some of you (aw comunity) can help us out...

We are looking either for a non profit organization that can help us with this case, or to raise as much money as we can..

We have opened 2 accounts at local bank for this, if you are interested to help all you have to do is PM me for the details..

If needed i can provide medical proof of his condition so that if you decide to help us .. you can be sure that the money will go exactly where its needed.

Also.. if some of you have friends or family involved in this kind of activity or know someone that works for a non profit organisation/fundation that handles such cases.. please do PM .

We would be more then interested in such an organisation.. because they have the "know how" and how these things go.. but at this point..we weren't able to find any available fundation/organization to help us..

So i apeal to all of you.. please help us.. so that one day he can be a normal human beeing with a normal life, so that he doesn't have to live his life.. plugged to a machine..

I don't know if i wrote the right things.. i am after many sleepless nights.. and the lack of sleep is getting to me..

If you can find it in your hearts to help us.. and you have the meanings.. please do PM me..

Since the hospitals in romania are in such poor conditions and the health insurance system is state related.. the surgery has to be done in a private clinic.

We are talking somwhere around 20.000 EUR, but we already came up with almost half of the amount.. so we need to raise the other half..

OK I see.

The amount of money needed is a lot for a single guy but doesn't seem much for an organization or for a bunch of guys (my guess, i don't know)

Is there a deadline for the operation???

I guess if u had a way to make international gifts, it would help (like finding a way to give money by Paypal, stuff like this).

This is a real sad story, I wish you and your brother good luck for your will.

Anyway, I have a question. I wonder how and why did your brother had a car crash.

@Silver: I can't use paypal i have to do it trough bank accounts because of legal .. but it is internationally open and anyone can use this.

He was on his way back home from his gf that is a nearby town, because the road was wet and he was driving to fast he lost control of the car and hit a tree that was on the side of the road at 140 km/h.

It was a miracle he survived in the first place..

I thought about something. We always receved message looking like an help appael. The people, with an agreement with AOL, Google, or stuff like this, earn 0.5€ per message sent. You know what I mean ?

So, maybe that's pure spam, but maybe that's not, i don't really know ... Maybe you could at least give a try and call a giant of the internet to speak about such a deal ?

Just an idea, maybe stupid one, i don't know ... Wink

What's this sad country where you need pay such a heavy price for medical stuff?

I hope you'll be able to find all the money needed for the surgery.

Yep.. its Romania..sadly.. health system is in the toillet..and it will prolly take years until it will be at a decent level..

About collecting the money.. i don't know.. almost nobody can help..we are not asking for big amounts..i was hopping to get some of the amount trough small donation..but .. nothing..

I think the idea of kumka could be great in the fact that if you find a way to get some money from google or any organisation by just sending mails! I think modos can even send a general announcement to every AW players about this asking them to send a mail to every of their msns contacts will help you raise money quite quickly! Just need to find out how to do this :s

I'm sure they'll agree for this announcement a life is way more important thatn this game and if the game can help you save your brother I'm sure everybody around there will be more than happy to spam every of his contacts!

Have you got lots of time to raise the money or is it like you have to get eh money within a really short time?

Yeah.. but i don't know how to do this..or if it is an option and sadly.. time is an issue here..

That is why i thought.. maybe some of the guys here could help even with few.. because that would add up in the end.. and we could raise the amount.. or part the amount needed..

But.. not much has happened..
