Now you can get a good price if you buy/(sell) something when many other sell/(buy) it. -new interest for the trade balance instead of 0,5% TB < 0 (= 8%) TB > 0 (= 4%) This makes it harder for player who receive cash from other players to win the game. -Max. points with a negative balance is now 451 instead of 499. -You can choose a race before you join the game. -The first player starts with zero PP, per hour you join after you get 0.25 PP. You cannot get more than 250 PP this way. -Additional effects of science o Bio: If your level is 6 level higher than your opponent you can see his intelligence report (race, detailed science) if his origin is in your range of vision. o Physics: If your level is 6 level higher than your opponent you get a 50% attack bonus (increased chance to win). This adds up to the race bonus: attack. o Mathematics: If your level is 6 level higher/(lower) than your opponent you get a +/(-)50% defense bonus (more/(fewer) survivors). This adds up to the race bonus: defense. o Social: Everyday one of your planets gets an extra population level. A planet can only be affected by this spontaneous growth if your social level is 6 level higher than the population. o Economy: If you are the top player, among 100 others who joined the game in about the same time, regarding economy you get a 5% bonus to your trade bonus. -You can get money by using a SU for unpopular buildings! The more a SU is used for a special type of building the more money you get if used for other types. These changes will make it harder for sponsored players to win the game. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Fleet -You can only send five fleets at the same time. -The travel time for long/short distances is decreased/increased. This makes it much harder for someone to enter your system with one fleet and decrease the population of all planets while you are away. -Energy now decreases the travel time by 10% each level. Spend All Points / Interstellar Trade If you use this function on each planet which is under siege the revenue will be splitted: 40% you 40% besieger 20% gone Artifacts / Supply Units As in beta 2 you can make money with trade but now it will be far more realistic. Once again there is no limit for artifacts anymore. You now need to make an order to sell or to buy artifacts or supply units. It will be executed between 2:00 and 2:30 GMT. The money you pay or you get is calculated from the old and the new price. So e.g. if you sell something you get a better price if many people buy it and a bad price if many other sell it. Also you now will loss your artifacts if you resign the game and restart. ################################################################################################### beta 1 => beta 2 -many minor changes in game handling -Culture is now harder to increase in the beginning. Higher levels are easier to achieve. Starbases -decreased damage (no %-damage on an attacking fleet anymore) -increased chance to win Trade -Production Points, Supply Units and Artifacts can now be bought and sold. -Changes in supply and demand affect prices. -People are able to transfer money. Overall Ranking -The new round ends if a player reaches 500 points and could stay above 500 points for one week.
