Orders

When buying or selling items from the Trade screen, you will not immediately acquire the item you intend to purchase or the money you would get for selling an item.
With the exception of PP trade (exchanging Astro Dollars for PPs or vice versa) all trade actions will occur at approximately 02:00 Server time.

Also when calculating the cost/value of the item the system will take an average of the price you saw when you sent the order and the new price (See: Price Fluctuation), this average will be the price you pay/get for the item.
eg. If you order a Supply Unit for A$1.000,00 and the price fluctuates to A$1.200,00 you will pay: The last Price plus two times the new price divided by three ( as follows ).

2*1200.00	+
3400.00	=1133.33
3	=1133.33

1133.33 is the new price to pay (or A$1.133,33)

eg. If you order a Charcoal Diamond for A$6.000,00 and the price fluctuates to A$5.500,00 the price you will pay will be:

6000.00
2*5500.00	+
17000.00	=5666.66
3	=5666.66

5666.66 is the new price to pay (or A$5.666,66)

The "new price" works the same way for selling items.

Note: You can only place one purchasing order and one sales order per day

Note: You cannot change an order once it has been made

Note: If you do not have the sufficient funds for the new price you will still receive the item however your Astro$ Balance will go into the negatives and can be cured by adding more Astro$ to your balance

Price Fluctuation
Prices of items will vary according to the demand and supply, ie. if lots of players sell Supply Units and buy Astrolabe's the demand for Astrolabe's has risen sharply as has the supply of Supply Units. This means that the value of an SU will fall but the value of the Astrolabe will rise. Playing the market can be used to gain significant advantages over your enemies but could well cost you dearly.

Note: New prices are calculated at the same time as orders are processed.
