State Of SiegeA State of siege occurs when there is a Fleet on either an un-colonized planet, or a planet owned by another player. Those ships will never be warned about a future attack; only the targeted planet's owner receives such warnings.A planet marked in red indicates a state of siege, during which the planet's Production Points (PP) can't be spent. The PPs can still be sold for Astro Dollars as stated in the Trade section. An important thing to note about when selling PPs for Astro Dollars however is that when PPs from a sieged planet are sold, 40% go to the aggressor, 20% are lost and only 40% are sold hence if you have 200 PPs on a sieged planet you will only get 80 PPs (assuming that 1 PP = 1 Astro Dollar), the aggressor will earn 80 Astro Dollars and A$40 will be lost. You can't colonize a planet that is marked red unless you bring a fleet to break the siege. If most or all of your planets are red, there is still hope. You could contact a nearby player who could break the siege for a small reward and/or the experience he or she will gain. Even though the planet is marked red, the infrastructure is not razed and the production accumulates in the standard fashion. Glossary Index back |
