Starbase

Starbases are the backbone of any planets main defense system providing a greater level of defense at a relatively low cost, and having the major advantage as to being doubled when present in CV Battle Predictions (in worst case scenario – The Starbases maximum damage can sometimes be up to twice as much as that of their listed Defense Value).

Starbases also provide a deterrent to any incoming fleets in the first place as other people can see which Starbase level you have attained on which planet.

The PP:Defense ratio relationship is 1:2.5 (which can sometimes be doubled in CV Battle Predictions. Starbase levels and CV values up to 25 can be found in the FAQ here
