Biological ScienceBiological Scanners and Autonomic Biosystems are the main topics in this field of research.Increases the range of vision (on the Map screen) allowing you to see other neighboring systems, the planets present, their ownership, population level and Starbase level. With every second level of Biological Science you are able to see an additional 'squares' distance from your original star system. i.e.
Your fleet can travel to any Star System you can see on the Map Screen thus increasing your Biological Science enhances the distances your fleets can travel. If your Biological Science level is six or more points higher then any other players within your field of vision, you will be able to obtain an Intelligence report on that player. Intelligence reports reveal all Science levels attained by that player, as well as their Race information. Intelligence reports are obtained automatically, i.e. If you select a star system in your field of vision, then select a player in that system, and your Biological Science level is 6 levels higher than that player, you will see an intelligence report for that player, if an intelligence report does not appear for that player, it simply means that your Biological Science level is not six points higher than his/hers. If you manage to reach a Biological Science of 23+ you will have come far enough in the field of Autonomic Biosystems to send your fleet to any where in the galaxy provided you have the System ID of the target system. If you use this method of destination targeting for your fleets to traverse to planets out side of your visual range then any reference to the planets or system will show up as "unknown" regardless of whether or not you conquer a planet from a system outside of your visual range (it will still be displayed as "unknown 7" etc).
